HCA offers a suite of National DPA Solutions that help to close the wealth gap in America, and help fulfill the mission of making homeownership accessible for everyone who qualifies in America. Our programs focus on first-time and first-generation homebuyers to assist in overcoming the barriers to homeownership.
HCA has a proven and award winning solution to providing Down Payment Assistance (DPA) Programs Nationally! These innovative programs bring a new methodology to delivering DPA to any geography across America with a focus on first time and first generation homebuyers.
As a 501c3, all donations are provided with tax deductible contribution letters, and these programs are made possible through corporations, private foundations, and individuals seeking to make a difference. Funds are permanently restricted to align with the donor's desired beneficiaries and geographies. Our program supports homebuyers as well as funding for HUD Approved organizations who help underserved communities access credit through homebuyer education and pre-purchase housing counseling.
HCA will compliantly administer programs with long-term impact tracking and reporting for Donors.

Equity DPA
Down Payment and Closing Cost Assistance loan for First Generation & First Time Homebuyer
- First Time Home Buyers
- 3% of Purchase Price or up to $9,000 per homebuyer
- 80% AMI or less, First Time Homebuyer Census Tract, and First Generation up to 140% AMI Eligible
- Forgivable upon sustained homeownership of 5 years
- Impact tracking and reporting for donors
- HUD-certified housing counseling supports and sub-grants
- Eligible with conventional and portfolio first mortgages
Equity Access
Down Payment and Closing Cost Assistance loan for First Generation & First Time Homebuyer
- First Time Home Buyers
- 80% AMI or less, First Time Homebuyer Census Tract, and First Generation up to 140% AMI Eligible
- $5,000 per household max award
- Grant at closing
- Impact tracking and reporting for donors
- HUD-certified housing counseling supports and sub-grants
- Eligible with all foxed rate first mortgage types.
