National Advisory Council Priorities

New Certification for Affordable Lenders

NAC has been working to draft national industry-wide guidelines for a new certification that will help bridge the trust gap with underserved consumers; the Certified Affordable Lender badge.

National DPA Programs Oversight

NAC advises HCA on policy and strategies that support the proliferation of our national DPA solutions. We are solving for 150,000 households annually who have to cancel their purchase due to lack of cash to close, 8 out of 10 are low income or minority homebuyers. 

Industry Best Practice

NAC is working with HCA to generate an annual event that can help move the needle with a wide range of lenders, helping to spread the best practices in mortgage banking for underserved communities throughout the industry.
